Although existing in many
bloodlines, the Hypomelanistic, or Ghost,
Ball Python has recently gained much
popularity with its extreme yellow,
orange or green coloration and its ability
to intensify nearly any other Ball Python
mutation. Although first proven genetic
in 1994, many new bloodlines unrelated
to those already in captivity have been
imported from Africa in recent years,
leaving many people wondering if their
lines are compatible with others already
in existence. Recently shown to be a
great combo-morph with the production
of the Ghost Spider and Ghost Pastel,
the Ghost Ball Python should soon become
of the most commonly crossed Ball Python
mutations in the industry.

Roussis Reptiles is currently working
with several lines of the Ghost Ball
Python, including the BHB line and N.E.R.D.'s
famed Orange line, and expects to produce
a high quantity of both Ghosts and Double
Het. animals in the near future. |
