In our opinion one of
the most beautiful Python species in
the world, the Green Tree Python has
always been a very popular species of
reptile. Born in either yellow or red
coloration, as a Green Tree Python matures,
they soon lose their birth colors and
become a vibrant green color, blending
in with their natural environment in
the treetops. Although commonly expensive,
the most prized and healthy specimens
are worth every penny, as unforunate
as it sounds, many are still captured
in the forests and imported to this
day, with many not surviving the plane
ride to the United States.
Roussis Reptiles is currently maintaining
a decent colony of high quality Green
Tree Pythons, and expects to produce
a limited number of these brilliant
animals in the near future.
